2017: A HUGE Year In Review

As 2017 draws to a close, the P4 team reflect on the year that was! Here are a few highlights from some of our team members, from what was one of the biggest years in our 23 year history.

Adrian, CEO and Founder

For me, the highlight of 2017 was growing our marketing and digital teams. Not only do we now have a full team of experienced marketing and communications strategists in-house, we also now offer a full suite of digital services – including design, social media content creation and advertising, SEO/SEM, eDM strategy and creation, video and web development. Offering these all-encompassing services under one roof has not only proven beneficial to our existing client base, but we’ve had some incredible new clients come on board where we’ve become an extension of their team.

We’ve just had a huge year, with no signs of slowing down in 2018! I am very much looking forward to the continued growth of P4 Group’s team and client base next year, through our true offering as a full service agency.

Lily, Account Director

The highlight of the year has to be representing P4 Group at the PRIA Golden Target Awards in Sydney, where I accepted two awards on behalf of the agency for our Brisbane Festival campaign. Held at the Sydney Opera House, the national awards are the industry’s longest running and most prestigious awards, showcasing quality and creative practice across 29 categories.

P4 Group won the Golden Target Award for Best Major Campaign, going up against some stiff competition from across Australia and another for excellence in measurement and evaluation. It’s a real honour to be recognised for all the hard work that has gone into the Brisbane Festival campaign…and the trophies look very much at home in our office!

Kate, Account Manager

This year I’ve loved working on some amazing campaigns for both HIV Foundation Queensland and Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation, and have enjoyed using the power of publicity to drive awareness of some pressing health issues, as well social change. With cervical cancer one of the most easily preventable cancers if treated early, it’s great to be able to take this message to the masses and hopefully save lives.

Similarly, working on HIVFQ’s Kokoda+ campaign allowed me to share the amazing stories of some incredible people living with HIV, and to drive broader awareness in the community in order to dispel the myths about HIV. I’m looking forward to using my PR prowess for more of this in 2018!

Erin, Account Director, and Scott, Operations and HR Director

We recently won a project which we’re so excited to be a part of in 2018! In February, we’ll be heading west to the Maranoa to roll out a community engagement program to inform a piece of research led by our client Horizon Housing. The engagement program forms part of the Queensland Government’s My Home, My Place Project, which looks to identify the future directions for housing older people living in rural and remote locations.

The engagement, which is being carried out by Horizon Housing under a grant awarded to them by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, will provide residents from across the region with an opportunity to share the challenges faced by those who wish to “age-in-place”.

We’ll be putting on our RMs and moleskins to undertake on-the-ground engagement in February; but the entire period of engagement will run from mid-January to the end of February 2018, and will incorporate online surveys; face-to-face interviews; as well as community engagement sessions.

Lauren, Communications Group Account Director

This year has been filled with highlights, but I can’t go past the State and National PRIA award recognition that the Bridge to Brisbane Day, Brisbane Festival and Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation teams received, as well as P4 Group being acknowledged at a local level.

In 2018, I am looking forward to working with the team to continue to grow our client portfolio… watch this space!

Sophie, Digital Content Executive

I’ve had a year full of highlights, but if I had to pick one, I’d say Bridge to Brisbane Day 2017 was one of my favourite campaigns to work on. It’s so rewarding to be involved in an event that not only is so loved by the community, but that also gives back!

In 2018, I’m looking forward to working with more clients in the digital space. I’ve been lucky enough to find my passion here at P4 Group in the social and digital space, and I want to work with more businesses to kickstart their digital journey.

Christie, Account Director

The biggest highlight for me in 2017 was having the opportunity to work on some really cool integrated marketing projects for St Hilda’s and Lutheran Services. It’s been exciting in my first year at P4 to get the chance to embed myself in some super interesting accounts.

In 2018, I’m most looking forward to spreading my wings even more within the team and supporting the business to grow even bigger!

Nat, Account Manager

2017 has been a fantastic year, but my highlight would undoubtedly be planning and executing another successful Brisbane Festival PR campaign. With a stellar program, endless events and more coverage than ever before, the campaign was equal parts fun, hard work and satisfaction!

I’m excited to see the projects and clients 2018 brings – the P4 team are a dynamic bunch and together we’re building a pretty enviable portfolio.
