Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. – Anonymous.

As we kick off another week, we take a moment to reflect on our team’s achievements from last week in our latest weekly wrap!

Welcome back ACCU!

We’re delighted to be working with the Queensland ANZAC Centenary Coordination Unit (ACCU) on a PR campaign to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of Polygon Wood. To honour the courage of the 57,000 Australian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice, a tree-planting ceremony will take place in Roma, Cloncurry, Cairns and Rockhampton on September 24th.  We worked with the ACCU earlier this year on the Battle of Bullecourt and are delighted to be working with them once again.

Not all heroes wear capes…

The QBANK Everyday Heroes Awards nominations are open and some incredible stories of human courage and bravery are coming out of the woodwork! Last Monday, the awards unearthed the incredible story of Jason Lim, an Ipswich paddle-boarder who saved a surfer’s life on the Gold Coast earlier this year. Jason’s story made the front page of the Queensland Times, but if you didn’t catch it in the paper, you can read it online here. Well done to the QBANK team for securing this great piece!

Nominations for the QBANK Everyday Heroes Awards close September 1st so make sure you nominate your everyday hero here.
