What a week! Here’s what’s happened in the wonderful world of P4 Group during the last week.

On Sunday August 27, thousands of people took to the streets to enjoy Brisbane’s best fun run! Bridge to Brisbane Day 2017 saw 30,000 participants pound over the Story Bridge and raise almost $700,000 for deserving charities.

Not only did Sunday mark the 21st Bridge to Brisbane Day; it was also the tenth time P4 Group have worked on this project! P4’s terrific trio of Lauren, Sophie and Dani worked hard to ensure that this year’s campaign built on the success of the last – and they did just that! Achieving 200 pieces of media coverage across print, online, radio and television, 1430 uses of Snapchat filters by participants on event day, and encouraging thousands of participants to join the social chatter by using the event hashtags #bridge2brisbane and #besttimebne, it’s safe to say it was another successful campaign, and another incredible day.

New P4 family members…

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be coordinating the media relations for the Brisbane Markets’ Mango Auction for the second year in a row! Taking place on the 5th October 2017, this event auctions off the first tray of mangos of the season to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Queensland and Life Education Queensland.

We’d also like to extend a very warm welcome to St Hilda’s School on the Gold Coast. P4 Group will be supporting St Hilda’s with a range of services, including strategic marketing, publicity and social media.

P4 Training Day

Last Friday, P4 Group escaped the office and took over Brisbane Powerhouse for a full day of professional development and training! This was a time for us to reflect on who we are as individuals, who we are as an agency, and where we want to be. We also had valued friends of P4 stop in to show us some tips and tricks – HUGE thanks to Amanda Little and Russ Vine for sharing their pearls of wisdom with us.

We all came out of the training day feeling inspired and energised by what’s to come for our agency within the next twelve months, and we can’t wait to share it all with you…keep your eyes peeled!

A Marvel-ous visit to Park Regis North Quay

During the last fortnight, P4 Group coordinated two successful media famils at Park Regis North Quay, where journalists from both the Gold Coast Bulletin and News Regional Media stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the Marvel exhibition at the GOMA. These famils resulted in a total of 43 pieces of media coverage, across print and online titles in both Queensland and northern New South Wales. You can read about Aisling Brennan’s experience here.
