“There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.” – Oscar Wilde

As we near the end of another exceptionally busy week at P4 Group, we’re proud to share some of our team’s sensational achievements of the past seven days!

National campaign launched to tackle PTSD

Earlier this week, we were proud to launch the research findings of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation and RSL Queensland’s world-first PTSD Initiative – an unprecedented three-year study into the long-term physical impacts of post traumatic stress disorder. P4 Group secured widespread national media coverage reaching an audience of more than 2 million, including ABC Radio National’s Health Report, ABC News 24, The Courier-Mail, Seven News Queensland, Mamamia and The Daily Mail. The media campaign culminated in a live studio interview on The Daily Edition and a QWeekend cover story. P4 Group also managed an associated corporate launch event, hosted by Channel Seven stalwart Kay McGrath.

Gold Coast Integrated Resort wraps community consultation

One of Queensland’s biggest news stories of 2017 is ASF Consortium’s proposed Gold Coast Integrated Resort, for which P4 Group managed the extensive community awareness, communications and media relations campaign. The Queensland Government’s three-month consultation phase wrapped on Friday, but not without one final reveal of the exciting things to come. Earlier in the week, we announced ASF’s proposed international Beach Club – the first of its kind in Queensland – which made waves in a range of high profile publications including The Courier-Mail, Gold Coast Bulletin, Australian Business News, The Urban Developer, Hot Tomato and Travel Daily, plus national syndication.

P4 Group joins PROI

P4 Group continues to cement its reputation as an industry thought-leader, with Managing Director Adrian Basile and Communications Director Donna Kramer returning from the agency’s first PROI conference in Sydney. We are proud to be one of just five Australian agencies, and Queensland’s only representative, in the PROI global network of leading independent agencies from 50 countries. Further, on Thursday night, Account Director Lauren Faulkner was a panelist at a Queensland Youngbloods event alongside some of Queensland’s brightest creative thinkers.

A major win for new retainer client UQ Business School

Our new partnership with UQ Business School chalked a significant win this week with a story in The Australian Financial Review on Monday. Centring Dr Tim Kastelle, the new MBA director at UQ Business School, the story proved a great advertisement for UQ’s world-leading MBA degree. Running in print and online, the article clocked an estimated readership of more than 1.5 million Australia-wide.

Bridge to Brisbane Day Returns

Queensland’s largest community fun run returns in 2017 and we’re delighted to be leading the communications campaign for the sixth year running – pun intended! 2016 was a huge year for Bridge to Brisbane Day, raising $716,964 for 221 charities. We look forward to achieving a new PB for the P4 team when the start gun sounds for this year’s campaign.
