Five awesome things to do in Brisbane this November

As the jacarandas bloom and Brisbane heats up, take a look at P4 Group’s tips for an epic November in the Brisbane river city.

Start the month in style

Brisbane Racing Club  has a range of Spring Racing Carnival events including St Vincent’s Private Hospital Stakes Family Day, on November 5th,  and  is a race day the whole family can enjoy.

Eye-opening experiences

Embrace these beautiful spring-summer evenings at the Ben and Jerry’s Open Air Cinema! Take yourself to South Bank’s Rainforest Green to enjoy some of the latest flicks, or get nostalgic on Time Travel Tuesdays, with old movies like Romeo and Juliet and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on show.

Matilda: the Musical kicks off at QPAC at the end of November – don’t miss out on seeing this beloved childhood story (and classic movie) come to life on stage! The musical has been incredibly successful worldwide, with Aussie singer/songwriter/comedian Tim Minchin the mastermind behind the music and lyrics.

Treat your tastebuds

The team behind Hello Harry are taking South East Queensland by storm with their never-ending foodie creations! Stop by Hello Harry Portside for burgers and beverages by the Brisbane River. With a commitment to sourcing fresh, local produce, and a two-hatted chef cooking up a storm in the kitchens, Hello Harry is love at first bite (and yes, we’re biased, but can you blame us?)

Get outside and get active

Boost your fitness levels for summer and take advantage of some free outdoor fitness classes! Parkrun Australia organises free group runs at countless locations around Brisbane each week. It caters for beginners through to those wanting a challenge and is a great way to encourage yourself to get moving.

The Medibank Feel Good Program is running free yoga, Pilates, Zumba and Bubacise classes at South Bank Parklands throughout November. Check out the timetable here and feel good this summer.
