P4 Group prides itself on having a highly qualified team of directors comprising our leadership team, with more than 100 years between them. Our digital arm is led by the best of the best, with Lauren Ludik at the helm, and she’s exactly who we’re profiling in our weekly deep dive this week, to find out how she keeps the cogs turning of the digital team at P4 Group.
Lauren (aka Ludy) is a skilled Digital Director with 16 years’ experience working on digital campaigns that make an impact. During her career, Ludy has flexed her digital prowess on large scale Government projects such as Cross River Rail and curated carefully crafted campaigns for ample lifestyle clients. Leading the digital division at P4 Group, she approaches any project with a positive mindset and a strategic eye. You’ll never find her shying away from doing things the hard way to ensure that expectations are exceeded.
I was invited to be an educator for a workshop to 20 winners of the ‘MITKA Education in Emergencies Challenge’, with DFATs Innovation Exchange and OpenIDEO. It was fantastic to provide the grant winners with education on how social media can be used for their initiatives and workshopping plans on how to execute a strategy.
I’m not sure I have a lowlight, as everything I’ve experience along the way has taught me what I know today. Admittedly, there’s been things I’ve had to do that haven’t been my favourite, but there is always something to learn out of everything.
Take more risks, continue learning and challenge the status quo.
Cross River Rail. I was lucky enough to work on the delivery of brand assets, as well as marketing and digital materials for the project.
I’ve changed career direction so many times over the last 16 years, so it’s hard to say! That being said, at the moment it would be a mix of digital design, project solving and web development.
It was a colleague back in South Africa who said to me, “there is always a better way”. That taught me to never just accept the way things are done, and always look for opportunities to improve, whether it’s changing the process entirely to deliver a better outcome.
Our integrated approach – we have so many great, diverse brains in one room!
Besides the diversity of clients and projects, it’s the people who make up the fabric of our company. It sounds cliché, but it’s true. I never stop learning from the people around me.
