What’s your career highlight?

Working with the country’s peak fitness industry association, Fitness Australia, during the COVID-19 crisis has been one of the biggest highlights. Being a fitness fanatic myself, its something that I feel very passionate about. I’ve enjoyed providing strategic communications guidance and advice to ensure they’re navigating the entire industry through the crisis and elevating their voice in the media.

What’s your career lowlight?

That’s a tough one! Probably when we had to pull the IPO for a major property client at the 11th hour. It was for all the right reasons, and it was the right decision to make, but it was deflating as we had worked so hard to build their portfolio here, in Singapore and in Hong Kong, so it was sad to see it all come to such an abrupt end.

One piece of advice you’d give to your 21-year-old self?

Try to be more present. It’s really hard trying to juggle everything, and it’s okay to say no, be in the moment and focus more on the task that is at hand. This is something I am still working on!

What’s the biggest project you’ve worked on?

I was lucky enough to be a part of the digitalisation for Domino’s, which was an amazing project! It was fun, challenging, and super rewarding.

What skill would you say is your ‘bread and butter’?

Crisis communications, issues management and presenting.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received, and from who?

One of my old mentors gave me a lot of guidance (particularly when I was all of 25, thinking I was bigger and better than I was). I can’t remember anything in particular, but she was always so professional, determined and had a great rapport with everyone. I learnt so much just talking to her and listening.

What’s P4 Group’s point of difference?

We really do become a part of the clients’ ‘team’. In so many cases, they think of us as one of them. We’re adaptable, agile and willing to work through challenges or opportunities with them. Nothing is ever too hard.

Favourite thing about working at P4 Group?

Our team, and the variety of work we do. No day is ever boring, that’s for sure!
