2018: The Wrap Up

Tags: , , , , , ,

Can you believe it’s the Christmas break already? Time flies when you’re having fun, and this year is no exception for the P4 Group team! We’ve have had another award-winning, jam packed 2018, filled with strategic campaigns and inspiring clients. So, sit back, relax and join us as we wrap up 2018 with a snapshot of some of our favourite memories:

Shop Brisbane City

shop bne city event

This year marked the second bi-annual Shop the City celebration, a collaboration between QueensPlaza, The Myer Centre and Wintergarden to bring Brisbane’s biggest shopping party to life. After being appointed to implement an integrated PR and creative campaign, we upped the ante with a new creative look and feel for the event.

Celebrating the unique selling point of shopping in the CBD, we developed the concept around the enticing outdoor atmosphere and vibrant ambience of shopping ‘Under the Stars’.

As an integrated agency we were excited to be able to showcase our capabilities throughout the campaign to cover all touch-points including, PR, branding, partnerships, influencer seeding, social media strategy, creative assets, art direction and video production.

The event was a great success with thousands of shoppers descending on the Queen Street Mall to enjoy the revelry well into the evening. We loved the opportunity to work on this project (even more than we love to shop!) and the results spoke for themselves, with over 27 pieces of PR coverage secured, the event hashtag exceeding over one million impressions and over 2,000 people visiting the ‘Shop & Pop’ activation.

The next Shop Brisbane City event will be held in March 2019 – see you there!

QBANK Everyday Hero’s Awards

Following the success of last year’s campaign, we were delighted to work with QBANK again on their Everyday Heroes Awards, which celebrate the police, emergency services, government and health community who serve Queensland so bravely.

Utilising the integrated skills we have across the agency in stakeholder engagement, marketing, PR and event management, the team delivered a seamless campaign, which culminated in the delivery of the Awards event.

The PR strategy secured positive, quality storytelling for nominees in the awards in Queensland media outlets – further cementing relationships with key QBANK stakeholders and driving brand recognition. Results spanned TV, radio, print and online news outlets, with over 200 pieces of editorial generated and 16.6 million impressions achieved.

Congratulations to all the winners and the wonderful work you do!

Donna Chang and The Boom Boom Room

Donna Chang restaurant

In September, we were honoured to work with the team at hospitality juggernaut, Ghanem Group, to launch their two newest venues – Donna Chang and The Boom Boom Room.

Bringing together our long history in hospitality PR and love of food, we implemented a strategic, national PR plan that positioned the venues as Brisbane’s top destinations for modern Chinese cuisine and bespoke cocktail experiences.

To date we have secured over 150 pieces of coverage and reached an audience of over 40 million people. We’ve welcomed journalists from all over Australia and the venue has hosted a range of top-tier personalities, including Nigella Lawson, from across the globe. Here’s to an equally as delicious 2019!

Burgess Rawson

One of the (many!) great things about working at P4 is the variety of industries we have the opportunity to work across – from travel to the arts, through to finance and property – we love it all!

Throughout 2018, we’ve been working with commercial property specialists, Burgess Rawson, to generate awareness of the business and its flagship portfolio auctions held throughout the year, as well as position its real estate agents as leaders in the commercial property space.

From a PR perspective, this year has proved to be a huge success for  the company, with more than 240 pieces of positive editorial coverage across print, online, broadcast, podcasts and radio media targets. For the Burgess Rawson Queensland team, we have assisted them in reaching a potential audience of 23 million+ people, with securing over 1,100 positive media clippings -which reached a total potential audience of 69 million+ people – for the New South Wales team.

Bridge to Brisbane

Bridge to Brisbane run

This year, P4 Group partnered with News Corp Queensland for the eleventh year running (pun not intended!), delivering PR, communications and digital support for Bridge to Brisbane 2018.

The campaign was multi-layered, with a mix of traditional and new communications tactics used to generate brand awareness and drive registrations. In particular, we recognised opportunities to reinvigorate the campaign for people who had already ticked it off their bucket lists and delivered solutions to assist us in doing this.

As a result, Bridge to Brisbane achieved 28,000+ registrations by race day and P4 Group delivered over $1 million in editorial value, as well as meeting social media and website KPIs set out by the client, to ensure the campaign was an all-round success!

Lutheran Services

We work with Lutheran Services Queensland to maintain its positive brand awareness, reputation and client pipeline. P4’s integrated team was engaged in 2018 to support both corporate activity and local activity at a village level which included research, marketing, business development coaching, public relations, media training and design services. At a village level, a multi-channel marketing, advertising and public relations program was developed which leveraged cross-promotion opportunities, enhanced and standardised the marketing approach and delivered well-attended events. We managed and collaborated with internal stakeholders and an external consultant team to ensure the program was delivered successfully. The program has supported aged care occupancy levels, generated a new pipeline of leads for retirement villas and raised the profile of in-home care services. We are excited to be continuing our engagement with Lutheran Services into 2019.

Phew, what a year… and, to this, this is only a small part of the results we have achieved. We can’t wait to see what next year has in store! If you would like to find out what we can do for your business, drop us a line.
