Queensland Week
The Department of Premier and Cabinet engaged P4 as official publicists for their 2010 Queensland Week celebrations. Queensland Week is an annual, week-long celebration shining a spotlight on Queensland’s culture, heritage, business and industry, while looking toward a strong, safe and healthy future for the State. P4 developed and implemented a multi faceted campaign designed to increase awareness of Queensland Week and publicise Queensland Week events and announcements. Using a creative and strategic approach, P4 secured extensive coverage in the lead up to and during the week long celebrations. Both state and national television coverage was achieved by P4 which complimented the significant exposure attained in a range of other media outlets including radio, print and online. The total value of the publicity generated over the course of the project was more than $800,000 with the campaign reaching a total circulation audience of almost 7 million. With PR serving as the key driver of the 2010 Queensland Week celebrations, P4 executed a highly successful campaign which resulted in a significant increase in attendance figures and awareness across the state.
